Hi, I have a supervisor that has been able to add and remove skills from agent ID's, this week she moved and is using a different computer. She is now able to add skill to an agent but can not remove skills. She have all the correct permissions but the delete button is grayed out. When I log on with her user ID on my computer all works fine.

Years ago we ran into this and there was a file local to the computer that had to be deleted to clear the problem, I can not for the life of me remember the file name or where it resides on the computer.

Anyone have any idea?

That's wierd, permissions should only be controled at the server, not locally on the PC.

The only file I know of that usually is removed is the cache file located here:

C:\Documents and Settings\[user LAN ID]\Application Data\Avaya\CMS Supervisor R16\Cache

Quoting only proves you know how to cut and paste.

Also, if they are trying to remove multiple skills from agents, have them just try one agent, one skill (skill that you have verified they have read and write permissions to).

If they can do this, then when they are trying to unskill a group of skills, at minimum they have one skill in the listing that they don't have write permissions.

Also if any changes were made to the user's permissions while the user was logged in, the changes don't take effect until they log out of CMS and back in again.
