CMS Supervisor 16 compatibility

Does anyone know if CMS Supervisor 16.2 is back compatible to CMS 13? I was told it was but I get a screen that tells me it is not compatible. Thanks in advance for any input.

I have CMS Supervisor R16 working with CMS R13. Just select your version of CMS on the Server Properties connection window.
