When I log into CMS via Terminal Emulator under Root login. When I do "who" to see logins at that time. Is there a comand to kill a certain login if someone forgets to log out. Only allow ten logins and night people are being blocked due to the day people not logging out.

Thanks in advance on this!

who -u" to see the people and their session ID (usually a 4 or 5 digit number).

kill -9 sessionIDnumber

to boot them out.

-CL

is this advisable to perform; kill command. what if thereis a child process running? this will definitely abnormally exit the application.

If the logout is just a button on there phone could you not use the new trick. "Here is a command that you can have a lot of fun with" which is in tek tips and log off the phone
in asa by using the list trace command.

He is talking about CMS sup. logins not ACD agent ID's logged in. So no, it wouldn't work for that.
