CMS restore some information 1

Hi Friends:

I would like to know How can I select and restore only some archives from a Cartridge BAck UP with the comand cpio in a CMS.

What version of Solaris? cpio on Solaris 9 doesn't seem to work the same as earlier versions.

Try

cpio -icmudv -C 10240 -I /dev/rmt/0 "path/to/file/you/want/restored"

assuming your tape is /dev/rmt/0 of course...
