Has anyone had problems with CMS18 on Windows 10 machines?
We're attempting the MA41 install
We've uninstalled all versions and made sure nothing is being cached in the following path (for CMS r16 or r17): C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Avaya folder
We also rebooted after uninstalling current version.. prior to installing 18. We just cut over to CM7 on Nov 18th and had a helluva time w/ CMS r18 installation on our Win7 boxes. The Avaya tech stated that the previous installation may have been a push? Anywho, we couldn't simply install over the current version(s) and had to uninstall (mostly) CMs r16 .. reboot.. then install r18 cleanly.

Just wondering if anyone had any "tek-tips" :)

Thanks all!

Im using CMS18 on Win10. Other then the SSH issue its works fine.

I am also facing issue same issue CMS R18 on few Win 10 laptops,( where Windows patch are Updated)but works fine on few win10
Avaya Suggested downgrade the CMS app version and try.
As a workaround I have given CMS web access URL, those who are face issues

Using 41 on Win 10 as well - no issues. Regarding SSH, try to increase the time out from 5000 (default) to something like 25000

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Avaya\Supervisor\18.0\Servers\CMS\SSH\SSHDelay

Funny... that's what we got from Avaya, too (to downgrade the version from MA41 to MA38) But.. it's not available on the site for download.
What error are you receiving with the SSH? Is that the "Can't connect to server" error?

When we attempt the user login from a Win7 (MA41) machine.. the username/pwd combo works just fine.. so we know it's not that. When they attempt it from the Win10 (MA41) machine.. it'll give us the "Can't connect to server" error.

Appreciate the SSH tip, too

Thanks

Step 1. Make sure you have shut down CMS supervisor. Then check the task manager, and make sure there are no acs* processes running. If there are, close them.
Step 2. Delete the CVS_Cache.tmp file located in C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\Avaya\CMS Supervisor R18\Cache\

Just bumping this - MA48 is out - haven't read the release notes, but maybe they fixed it...

Guys !! I tested last week and its working CMS r18 release Feb12 2018 and release note says Win10 feature pack 1709 issue has been fixed.
Sorry for delay !! Thanks all

Thanks Vivek!! I'll give it a shot :)
