Hello all, is there a way to grant only one CentreVu session per login-id? The idea is to barr users from sharing their login/password with non-users. Thx. John

JW105,

not that i know of. cms allows multiple (up to four, to be exact) sessions per username on purpose, to allow automated script actions to work without interrupting main cms session. so that's a feature not a bug. however, you can check who's online by using 'w' command in the cms shell, it will give you the user name and ip address of the client computer. you check the ip address and if it's not of the person who is allowed to access cms, bang. another way to force this is to put a firewall between cms and clients, but really all this is kludge. as someone said once in this forum, there's no technical way to fix an administrative problem.

Hallo,

This was over two years ago, but see if this helps.
