Starting webijobserver...

Starting webi...

Starting destjobserver...

Sleeping 90 seconds before enabling the ports...
Creating session manager...
Logging onto CMS...
err: Error: Couldn't logon to CMS
err: Error description: Unable to connect to CMS SERVER:6400. A wrong connection is made to @@DBA(DBA). Logon cannot continue.

Are you logging in with a cluster name or a server name? You can't use the cluster name until you've successfully logged in under the server name once. Under Windows, this is because that inital login creates a registry entry that identifies the server(s) in the cluster.

Alternatively, you can try to create the registry entry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 11.5\Enterprise\CMSClusterMembers. The entry name is @<your cluster name> and the value is <server1 name>:<port number>;<server2 name>:<port number>;...;

So, for example, I have an entry that looks like this:

Name: @DevReports
Value: boedev01.my.corp:6400;boedev01.my.corp:6410;

My development environment has a single server that is running two CMS services under different port numbers, so I have an entry for each. This could also be two different servers or, if you're not clustered, it will be one server.

Or, from your other thread here, it may be that you're having database problems....

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

Tks for the reply but the system im on is solaris.. sorry by not mentioning it before... anyway I specified the port on the ccm.config and felt on the same problem that I was having on the other machine... that is the problem of the other thread...

Tks
