CMS IDS Problem 1

CMS was running fine. It rebooted and now I'm having this problem.

Select one of the following1) Turn on IDS2) Turn off IDSEnter choice (1-2): 1IDS is down.Please wait for initialization. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . IDS could not be started. Try shutting IDS down and try again.




IDS Won't start. has anyone experienced this?

Figured it out.

Host name in /etc/hosts needs to match perfectly to

/opt/informix/etc/slqhosts


Hopefully this will help someone in the future.
