I have an Avaya CM6.0 system in a vstack that has been sitting in the racks for 2 months without any T1s. (We migrated to a different phone system) The CMS data storage allocation tables are defined for the retention but I didn't know that means the database will delete any historical data for that table after that specific time. Or will the data that is in there not be deleted because there is no new data writing over it? I want to move this data to a SAN so our call center can pull this information when they need but I don't know if its currently being deleted because of the rules in the DSA tables.

Thanks

If the CMS is running the historical data will be deleted based on the Data Storage Allocation. Not sure how you are going to try and move the data to a SAN. Are you going to pull the data directly form the underlying informix and dump it somewhere?
