Hi,

I have a user who Ive given access to CMS V12 via an ODBC link. Hes able to extract all the data and all is hunky dory apart from a few discrepancies with some stats.
I have run a bog standard Agent Summary Daily report for him and we ahve uncovered two discrepancies with the data. On one date, the Extn In calls is totalled as 1 on the CMS report but 0 on the data. (made up by adding ACWINCALLS with AUXINCALLS)
The second discrepancy is on another date but with the AUXTIME. The CMS report showws 24:00:00 in AUXTIME and 0 for OTHERTIME but the extracted data shows 14:30:20 on AUXTIME and 09:29:40 on OTHERTIME which in fact do add up to 24:00:00

Im a bit stumped with this one. Not really sure what to advise the user. If anyone has any ideas to share Id be grateful.

Thanks in advance
Natalie

Ask the user what fields they are using specifically:

You get I_AUXTIME and also AUXOUTOFFTIME and also AUXOUTTIME etc etc

You'll find the user isn't using the same field as the CMS report, or they might be looking at a different table.

The CMS report might takethe data from wsplit table, and the user could be using dsplit and adding up all the different days values. This is just an example, so post the fields that the user is using and I'll help you out.

Hi,

The report Im running is a daily agent summary so ive advised him to take the info from the dagent table. I did initially think that he was probably using wsplit or dsplit etc but he assures me hes not.
The Extn In calls data item is EXT_CALL_IN whilst in the dictionary this is down as being made up of (AUXINCALLS + ACWINCALLS)On my report for this one particular date its showing as 1 call.
Now the user says he is taking acwincalls and auxincalls but both are showing as zero for the same date, same agent and from the correct table.

I cant fathom it at all. Just doesnt make any sense. I dont use the ODBC facility personally for reporting as we generally use CMS, however this user is trying to create his own database for a Sales Logic application.

Any suggestions would be fab.
