CMS backup error

We are migrating CMS r12 to an 880 with v14.
AVAYA reports that the full backup has errors, and needs them cleared, and a new full backup needs to be completed before proceeding. This happened in MAY of this year and they dialed in, said it was fixed and now in Sept it is happening again.

The error is :

BACKUP Table backup failed. Retry Backup. Table=/usr/lib/cms/Aname

I "cat" the Aname and this is what is shows:

Does anyone know what this is and/or how to fix it? Thanks!

BACKUP Table backup failed. Retry Backup. Table=<table name>.

Reason - A problem was encountered reading the indicated table or writing table to tape.

What to Do? - Replace the tape with a new tape and retry backup. If the problem recurs, call Services.

 
The DAT72 drive was bad. I replaced it and it worked fine. Thanks.
