Hello,

Does anyone have CMS supervisors working on Windows 7 machines?

If so does the supervisor lose connection to the CMS if the PC is locked whilst the user leaves their desk and do they have to log back into supervisor every time they unlock their PC?

Does anyone know if there is a way to stop the supervisor losing connectivity in the above scenario?

Thanks.

We are running CMS Supervisor r16, with Win7, connecting to a CMS r14 server. We have not experienced any issues at all. Our supervisors are required to lock their desktops before they leave their desks and we do not have that issue at all...

Thanks for the info gblucas.

I wonder where I can go from here to check out what is ocurring then.

Have you set your cms supervisor to any special running level on your PCs, such as realtime or anything?

Thanks.

We didn't change anything. The users received new PCs and at the time the decided to go to Win7 64bit and we had to work through a few issues, but most of the issues were with other applications, not CMS. I also have users using CMS r16 on Win7 32bit. I really don't know where to tell you to go, since it works in my environment with no problems at all...
