yes, CMG does not mind what tyoe of operator handset, NOW uses the extension number to connect. The call setup and speech is on the switch, not CMG, NOW only controls the handset.

With DNA-OWS we had a CT-Adapter. I fully understood this. But how does it work with NOW and IP-Phone? What happens exactly if Operator dials with a mouse-click?
NOW is told the IP address of the MXOne and the extension number in the adaptor config (NOW software adaptor). Works like a digital handset. You could have IP operator in DNA too. It is explained in the NOW install doc with screenshots, If the operator dials from NOW, the handset dials and NOW reflects that on its screen, same as in OWS.
