CME 4.1- 7961 "Host Not Found"

Hi All,

I have a problem with trying to access Local Directories as well as services on a 7961, tells me "Host Not Found"

If I check under the phones Settings->Device Configuration there are no HTTP settings displayed for any of the URL configurations, but they are all defined under telephony-service.

When I use an IP Communicator however...everything works perfectly.
All other phone operation works fine.

The laptop running communicator gets the same IP configuration from the DHCP server as the IP phone.

Any suggestions why it works on the Communicator and not on the 7961?

i'd upgrade to the latest firmware.

Could be related to DNS. Go to System ---> Enterprise Parameters ----> scroll down to Phone URL Parameters. Under URL Directories you should have the following:

http://Publisher

Ip address/CCMCIP/xmldirectory.asp

Use the Ip address for the publisher instead of the hostname.
