Whilst a .cmdButton will support a .Caption and .Picture simultaneously, is it possible to arrange them side by side as opposed to on top of each other?

No.

What I've resorted to doing, Chris, is creating an image that incorporates the text and picture. Obviously that makes it impossible to change the text at runtime, if that's a requirement. [sig]
Robert Bradley

<a href= - Visual FoxPro Development
[/sig]

Hi Chris,

From the VFP Help File:
It can contain both graphics and text. When the button contains both, the text is always centered at the bottom of the button.

FWIW, you could try superimposing a label on the left half of the command button and an image control over the right half. Have their respective click events call the command button's click event. Thanks Robert and Jon

I had that sinking feeling when I asked the question what the answers might be.
