Hello,
I'm administering a NEAX 2000 IVS. Basically we've received a request to move an extension to another room.
Is is possible to accomplish this with CMD10 over a CAT?
Scenario:
ext.6993 current LEN: 0009
requested move to LEN: 0012

Thanks,
Derek
p.s. What does the "F" in "F6993" mean versus just 6993 as far as extensions go?
p.p.s. i don't have a MAT.

If you know the LENs of both extensions it is easiest to just swap the cross connects.

The 'F' denotes a digital port/phone. Without the F denotes an analog port. You can find the LENs by going to F52, enter the extension number (Fxxxx for digital, xxxx for analog), and you'll see the LEN.

Hope this helps.

thanks for the info. yeah, it was much easier to just switch the pairs.
