CMC -unable to print to network printer

Using CR 8.0, CE 9.0, SQL Server 2000

I am trying to help one of our IS people figure out how to print to a network printer from CE. Here is the error message we are getting:

Status: Failed

Printer: Print the instance on the printer: " \\qpauhnsys\q05uhn03 ".

External Destination: None

Start Time: 2/20/2006 9:47:03 AM

End Time: 2/20/2006 9:48:43 AM

Server Used: paepic3.report(UHN)

Error Message: Invalid printer specified. File C:\Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Enterprise 9\Data\procSched\paepic3.report(UHN)\~tmpc2c4324d627100.rpt.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,
Be sure the account the service ( the Report Jobserver, I imagine in this case) has the rights needed to create a new printer on the server and to write to that print queue ...Try using an administrative group account.
