I have an older CMC 7.49. If a person is in my mailbox and dials #, they get back to the opening greeting. Can I prevent that from happening?

Is this when someone is hearing your personal greeting and if they held on they could leave a message? Or is this when the user is logged in to the mailbox listening to messages callers have left them?

If it's the former then I believe it's possible to do but the latter I doubt. It's been a while since I touched one tho :(

This is when a caller is in my mailbox, listening to my personal greeting. Instead of waiting and leaving a message, they hit 0 and get back to the opening greeting.

Dialling 0 or #. Your posts conflict.

Dial 0 will go to the Operator mailbox, and depending on how it's been setup could do anything.

If a caller dials "#" while listening to my greeting they go to the opening greeting. Can I turn that off?

FYI.....Talked with Tadiran who talked with Active Voice. The # when dialed while a mailbox greeting is being played is hard coded in the software by Active voice and can not be changed.
