CM6 Patch installations

Hi All,

I've got to install CM 6.01 SP9, but I've got a few questions regarding this.

Firstly do I upgrade System Platform first or CM??

Should I un-install current active System Platform patches prior to me installing the latest??

Should the CM patch installation be carried out in the CM maint web page or through System Platform?

If it's to be done in System Platform, is SP smart enough to remove any old CM patches prior to installing SP9 or do you need to tell SP to un-install the currently active CM patch.

1.Upgrade SP and patch it fully.

2.Upgrade Cm and patch fully.

3.Dont remove any previous active patches until you are sure everything has taken and you get service with the new patches unpacked and active.

4. Avaya Recommend that you patch CM through SP but you can do through CM maint page ( i would use SP so you get used to using this feature, that said the CM Maint gives you more info)
