CM - Upgrade Paths - Release 2.0 to 7.x

Nothing really new. Just remember it's not as straight forward as it looks. CM running 2.2 is most likely on the original S8700 servers so you may have issues with any step upgrades. For something this old I typically look at a Provision pull, massage the translations, then push back in. Going to 7 you need to look at removing center stage translations, replacing MCC/SCC/CMC cabinets, changing out gateways to G430/G450, overhauling IP-Network-Regions due to the Enhanced Media Selection Algorithm, etc. Much easier with a Provision pull. There are a couple of variations in the translations to be aware of such as moving the incoming call handling out of the trunk group and into a separate table.
