We are running CM 7.01.0.532-24515 (SP # 3) and need to update to 7.01.0.532.0-2588 (SP # 5).

After unpacking the new patch do you deactivate the current version or apply over it?
 
Patching CM I have found that you need to deactivate the existing patch, then activate the new one or it won't install.

I should add there is an issue in v4 and 5 that messes with the CDR. Instead of getting the caller ID you get the VDN that passed the call a long. Avaya is working on a fix but its not out yet. see -
 
734 broke something with aes and recording too. I'd imagine 735 fixed it, but be careful
