All;
I'm currently installing a new CM 6.3 from scratch. I have 19 POTS lines that ring on individual extensions. I was going to create a Trunk Group for each line, but that seems like an overkill. Can I create 1 Trunk Group and add each POTS line as a member? I also need to point each POTS line to and individual extensions. Any help would be usefull..

Thanks

I think you're going to need to go with overkill and make 19 trunks, each with a different incoming destination.

Maybe assign them as personal CO lines?

Or, y'know, get a PRI. Sorry - I had to! [afro2]

Best thing would be to add them as Personal CO Lines (add personal-CO-line). A PCOL trunk group would be required for each POTS line.

If I create a PCOL for each line, how will I set the Route Pattern up. I normally set the Route Pattern to my PRI, but in this case I don't have one!!!!

PCOL is a personal co line.

PCOL can be assigned with a "per-COline" button for access on up to 16 voice
terminals. These trunks are not used and cannot be used in route patterns like
customary trunk members in trunk-groups.
Users answer incoming call on their voice terminal's "per-COline".
Outbound calls from voice terminals with "per-COline" must be originated from
the "per-COline" button.

If you do not have a voice terminal with a "per-COline" button, you cannot use
this line for outbound calls.

Administraion allows coverage path for the line. The PCOL can be answered via
coverage if you do not have a "per-COline" button

Console permissions and Attendants can use Facility Test Calls Access Code: for
testing outbound or verify the circuit has dial-tone.

Antaew, I know I am subverting your question here but have you considered a PRI or something more condensed? I'm assuming these are PSTN trunks.
