Hi everyone. I am new to Clustering so bear with me. I am about to set up a 2 node cluster on Windows 2003 Server. What I would like to know is does the hardware and software e.g patches, need to be the same on both servers? This cluster will be used for SQL Server 2000. Any advice would be most appreciated.

Clustering SQL 2005...this will get you started. But it is always recommended that the hardware matches exactly.
