Hi all,

I'm trying to cluster backup exec 9.1.

I have installed it on both nodes, and successfully upgraded each installation to SP3 - which works fine.

When I go to open the Cluster Wizard, I go through each process. Giving it a unique cluster IP address, and name.

I then click the final 'Configure' button, once it gets to the end, it says it failed on creating the cluster group.

Then I go into cluster administrator, their is a backup exec group. Its moved my V: (veritas shared disk) to the Backup Exec group and created a resource "Virtual IP" for backup exec - Which is in the failed state. I then edit it and find that their is no IP or network connection defined in it.

Any idea's?

Cheers all!

Nick

Is there anything in C:\windows\bkupexec.log on the node you ran the cluster wizard from. This is the install log and usually there is something toward the end of the log
