Clustering and SANs

I have heard rumours about problems with NW6 and SANs. The Novell Knowledgebase gives some info and some guidance on dealing with SANs/NSS and Clusters, but of course it only lists "solved" problems. Anybody have direct experience good or bad?

I can't speak for NW6, but last year we put in a 1 TB Hitachi SAN and connected it to a cluster of NW 5.1 servers. All volumes on the SAN were NSS and we had no problems whatsoever. We're going back this summer to upgrade them to NW6 and fully anticipate no problems since it's been running like a charm for the past year. I can tell you that the Hitachi SAN runs great in conjunction with NetWare Cluster Services and NSS.

Perhaps the problems you've heard of were related to a specific SAN vendor/hardware? ------------
