My server noeds were having some network issuse, so during the troubleshooting I set there IPs to DHCP. Now when I set them back to the original static ips the cluster service cannot be started on the "cluster name". Stating "the network path was not found". It is only a 2 node cluster. One is powered off. I am attempting to access from the last active node. THis node does see the qurom. Any help? I am definitely a cluster novice....

hi,
if you change address of cluster member, you need
change also the address of the network card inside
the Cluster resource. To do this, however, you
need to launch the cluster administration. Sometimes
in these strange situations, you are not able
to do this: you enter the cluster name in the field,
but it does not connect. A trick is to put a dot (.)
in the field (what you use at dos level to indicate
current directory).

Ensure that cluster service starts, and ensure that
your machine is still in Domain, and the user
that owns cluster service is in domain and pwd is correct.

bye
