Has anyone changed the address on a PUB and SUB's before? We have a site that we need to change there addresses and I'm curious as to any hurdles that might be in the way when restoring the database. Anything special needed in SQL? We're running 423...thanks!

Why not just VLAN out the CCMs and don't change them at all? I would think there would be some cleanup work if you changed the IPs.

It is what it is!!

The CCM's have private IP's, we are running a gatekeeter between 14 different clusters and must do all the IP routing...private IP's will not work so we much change the IP.

I've tried this solution in our lab and it failed, I think this document was written to change the IP of a cluster with just one server...have you changed a cluster with numerous servers following these guidelines?

I've never done it on more than a single server. What failed??

The SQL database failed when re-initializing

DId it fail on the Publisher or during replication to the Subscribers??

The document that pndscm posted does work (only done it on 3.x and 4.x). I have not foumd a better doc than that thus far.
However as you see it is not straight forward and you will have to mess with it until you get it working.

As there is not supposed to be such a thing as a single server cluster (not supported by design) this doc is for multipe servers.
