i have a home dvd player that was struck by lightning and it quit working. so i took the dvd rom out of it and hooked it up to my pc. it works fine and windows xp has drivers for it. but it does not have an eject button. i need to know if there is a regedit or something i can do to make close come up on the menu when i right click on it in my computer. eject shows up and works but i need it to close so that i dont have to continue pushing the tray back in. thanx alot in advance!

A program called "Win-Eject". " It can also be set to monitor your CD's to open - if there is media in it - when you shut down. It sits in your tray (next to the clock) and you can open or close your unit when ever you want.
