Closing Cursor error

vers: PB 6.0

In my app, its a db conversion utility, i am altering, dropping, creating an index and inserting values on this cursor. I then perform an execute immediate statement. When I attempt to close the cursor I receive an error message, stating:
"Procedure has not been executed or has no results."

I still have to close the cursor right?

No need to close the cursor if executed in pb. Automatic delete @ end of transaction.
