Closing app does not log off session

Running Win2k XPe FR3. When users close their seamless applications in Citrix, sometimes it does not log them off the server they were attached to. They are not disconnecting the session, but quiting the app properly. They still have the active connection to the server, but no application running. This means their profiles do not get updated as they haven't logged off Citrix when they shut down their PCs.

Any reason why closing an app does not trigger the log off function?

Some process was not unloaded properly, I guess.
In our case I found that the ATI video driver was the problem. Check on the servers' services see if you have the ATI hotkey poller or not, if you do try disabling it see if it does the trick. Mine did.
