Closing a 2007 database - why does it take a long time to close?

Does anyone know why it takes so long for an access 2007 database to close?

It is not a systemic problem. I have never seen it. It may be specific to your installation, computer, or network.

We only have SP1 installed, SP2 to be installed soon, that might clear that up....agree??

Some db's (Not sure if 2007 has this) can be set to "Compact on Close", which would take some time.
