I would like to know the best way of programming a company closed due to bad weather message all incoming callers could hear. I need to be able to put this on from my home phone line...

What type of system do you have, Octel 100,200,300 the old VMX or a 250, 350? they are different in how to have a greeting like this.

the best way to do this is to use a type 34 or type 35 mailbox and when you want a meassge to play you record a greeting in that mailbox and after the message plays it goes to your regular menu.

you must add the mailbox and then tell it to go to your menu mailbox and if there is not a greeting in it then the caller passes right to the menu. if there is a greeting in it they are forced to listen to it and then they are sent to the menu
