Closed apps leave screen image on Desktop

I have an issue when you close or minimize a window, the section that was in the middle still shows when exiting or minimizing. You think it might be vid card issue, like refresh?

Not sure what you mean by "the section in the middle".

Did you try safe mode? How about changing screen resolution or color depth settings? If it keeps happening then maybe you do have a video memory problem. Reducing color depth should change the symptoms.

Have you done spyware scans? Looked at running tasks?

Update your video card driver first and see if that helps. Reboot after installation even if Windows doesn't prompt you to. Then try exactly what you did before that caused the issue.

Get the driver from the manufacturer web site which should have a later driver than your PC manufacturer. If you can't find one from the video card manufacturer, go to your PC manufacturer and get the latest driver from there.

It turns out that it was Adobe6, i uninstalled that and put version 8.1 on there and it works fine now.
