Close view on drilldown

I'm using CrystalReportViewer. On drilldown event, it opens another report. However, the drilldown view still appears. I want to close that view, but can't use the CloseView method in the DrillDown event since at that time, the view doesn't exist yet.
Any Idea how can I disable the views appear on drilldown (but can still access the drilldown event).
