This is one of those things that I am sure is staring me in the face, but is there a setting for the terminal options that if the connection is terminated from the far end (i.e. router times out the session) that procomm will close out the window altogether. Alternatively, is there a way to send keepalives?

Thanks, Jeff

There is not a way to automatically close Procomm or to send a keepalive, but I have a couple scripts that may do the trick for you. This script:

closes Procomm when a connection is broken, while this script:

sends a carriage return every five minutes (may be usable as a keepalive for your purposes).
