Close Link on a layer

I have gotten the layer to display nicely from being hidden but I wanted to add a link inside that layer that causes it to become hidden again.

For some reason I cannot get this to work so I'm asking for your help.

This is a Javascript question.

But how are you showing it from being hidden?

Technically you would have to change the style for the layer to dsplay:none for it to hide.

Thanks, I realized that I had this question in the wrong section as I had first tried to do this using only CSS but realized that I needed a different solution.
