Close ended tab automatically on Cognos scheduler

Hello,

I am quite new using impromptu scheduler task,

I just want to know how to close cognos opened windows automatically ?

all tasks are scheduled and ran without problem but the cognos windows remains opened and I have to close manually all the days, How can I set automatically "to close windows" once the task is finished ?

btw, Impromptu does not have a maximun task limit to scheduled task? or I can run illimited task without problem?

Tks for your answer I did what you posted, but nothing changed for me, I am using 7.3.1401.0 version

and my path is not cer5 but cer4
C:\Program Files\Cognos\cer4\bin\xxxx
(it could be the reason?)

I made some test but nothing, the windows still remains opened once the task is finished.

some other suggestions ??

As far as I recall, it's been this way for all point versions of series 7 impromptu - see thread401-927157 - but you do have to specify the correct path of the impromptu.exe when running the DOS command.
Other than that, I've not another suggestion.

Thanks a lot,, Now it works, I do not know why the cmd did not take effect.

I restarted server and now it works.
