Despite a lot of redirection, I have several users of my databases who will oepn a database and leave it open when they go to a 4 hour meeting or in the worst case when they leave for an extended business trip. This causes troubles because I can't do any database changes and it tends to cause errors since we are in a multi-user environment.

Is there any way to make an access database automatically (and properly) close down on a particular user's computer if they have done no activity after say one hour?
