I'm having difficulty getting the close button to disable on a form. The Close button property is set to no, the control box, navigation buttons, control box and border style are all set to no/none BUT the close button on my form will not disable.

Bit weird, try setting Mon/Max to none as well and see if that works.

Not to seem too trivial, but did you try...

Me.MycloseButton.Enabled = False

Is the form maximised? It is a peculiarity of Access that when a form is maximised, you CANNOT disable the Close button.

Try running the form at a slightly smaller size than maximum.

Thanks everyone - the only way I could get it to work in the end was to have the form as a "pop-up" form which is fine.
