I still desperately need help on this. I have created a custom menu bar that unfortunately comes with a min max and close button. Is there a way to get rid of that? I know that a form's min max and close buttons can be gotten rid of in properties but I can't seem to find a way to do it with custom menu bars - can anyone help?

Hmm... On my menu bars there is only close button. To get rid of it, right-click on the menu and select customize. In the Toolbars tab select your menu and click properties. Uncheck Allow showing/hiding.

Hope that's what you need

If I'm understanding you correctly you used the customize dialog box to add your custom menu bar. if so open the customize dialog , click on the custom menu drop-down and drag the close button from the drop-down and you done
