We are trying to set up for deployment of Windows 2000 Pro machines but have been running into a show stopper problem with outlook.
After imaging the master file to another simular machine (Dell GX200)...
When we log on as a normal user and set up an outlook account (Corporate mode) it keeps coming up with the same question everytime we reopen outlook
"Outlook is not currently your default manager for Calendar and Contacts. Would you like to register outlook as the default manager ? " Yes No
Of course we answer yes and then shut down outlook. When we reopen it and the same thing comes up

We have tried using both Ghost 6.51 & 7.0 and Deploy Center 5.0 (PowerQuests replacement for Drive Image Pro) thinking that the clone process was causing the problem but.....
We feel that this problem is tied in with the W2k Protected storage but haven't found a solution yet..
Could it be something that we've overlooked in setting up Windows 2000 or outlook ?? Have you experianced a similar problem ??

HELP
Thanks
Mikeee

One futher thing that might have a bearing on this issue..
We are installing W2k, then the needed Dell drivers, Novell 4.8 client and then the full Office 2000 professional package.. in this sequence..
I wonder if Novel might be contributing to this problem ??

Mikeee,
If you are running Netware 4.8, make sure you apply the service pack (sp3) and then apply the patch for that... I have found that this resolved a few errors with cloning utilizing Ghost6.5...
