We have many users of our Intranet. It would be helpful if they all had the same Intranet options settings.
I know that many applications write your settings to a specific file. Is that true of IE? It would be helpful if I could just transplant a little file from one user to another.

You should get your IT department to look into setting up AutoConfig files (.INS files) for Internet Explorer. These can be used to push settings to browsers when they start up.

Hope this helps,
Dan

You can also use Group Policies for AD and NT4.0 domains. this will apply the settings to any new machines and will reset any changes made by the users at each logon.
