Hi there,

next question: How can a complete user environment, including all security files be cloned to a different system? Is there any IBM-tool available or is there any complete list of files, which have to be copied to the new system?

THX for your help

As well as the usual /etc/passwd file, there are also the files in /etc/security to consider as well.

Make sure any files referenced in a users .profile are also taken across and don't forget about environmental variables that may have been set outside of the users .profile (for example if the users .profile PATH statement builds upon a previously set one).

Theres probably more, but that's all I can think of right now.

Hope it helps.
