I recently had to rebuild out main TNG/NSM server from the ground up. After reinstalling everything including the Cisco integration kit, i noticed that we get a lot of “clog…” messages from our Cisco devices. I never saw these before the rebuild though. Does anyone know what this means? I am curious if this is normal behavior or not. Thanks!

Are the Cisco devices set to trap to the main CORe or to a seperate DSM?

the cor and the dsm are on the same machine in our environment.

By the sounds of it you had a MRA that deleted the CLOG messages. The CLOG messages are Cisco log messages you can basically you can set up what ever level of logging you want on the switches and then have them send it to the trap destination. I fyou didnt have a MRA before maybe someone turned on logging on your switches.
