Going to try and explain this best I can:

Have a IP 412(ver 4.2.14) w/ 2 dual PRI cards in them. I have a partial T1(line 2) going to another Magix(clock set to network), another T1 going to another Magix via P2P cross over(line 6) w/ clock set to network, and in slot 5, I have a PRI(line 5) from PSTN w/ clock set to network. I am having slips and missed frames on the telco PRI that is now becoming an issue(clicking on line).

I am getting mixed signals in documentation about clocking and the IPO w/ netwroking to a Magix and PSTN. This has been working for 3+ years w/out much issue, and now all of the sudden its acting up and all issues are pointing to clocking. Any help....? Thanks in advance

Figure it out damn-it!

Only one of the PRI's should be set to Network, one to fallback the rest should be unsuitable :)

Best to put the telco link as Network source and others as you please :)

I made that change this morning and seemed to clear up most of the clock slips. Still taking 1-2 every 15 minutes. Also averaging about 75 missed frames/15 minute interval. Is that splitting hairs to get those cleaned up?

Thanks armriddle.

Something is still up, what trunks are the slips/missed frmaes on? Our link from the telco has had no errors in 6 months so even a couple a day isn't really normal.

It is on the telco T1 w/ these errors. My Magix T1's don't have any errors. This missed frame is creeping up to around 150 per 15 min and the clock slips about 2 per 15 min. Averageing about 15 severely errored seconds per 15 min too. That makes for roughly 150 red alarms and 15 yellows.

When I checked w/ the carrier this am, of course they were seeing everything "clean". I have already swapped T1 ports to a different 2 port mod, have double checked my cabling and programming. Not sure what else to do here....

Had a problem once on a 412 when the PRI was in slot A we had a lot of problems. Putting it in slot B solved it.

They are in both Bas,but you could try swapping them anyway which one is the Telco card in A or B? Do the change in programming and repatch rather than taking it too pieces, or disconnect the magix and see if you still get errors from the Telco. Telco's will try anything to get out of sending someone too site.
