Hi All:

we have a mixed NT/2000 (NT server domain and 2000 professionals) what is a good solution for everyone to sync their clock with the server ? I have tried timeserver but it doesn't work

Thanks

Login script.. just a bat file or something.. it takes like .0005 seconds to run and it works everytime..

in the login script:

NET TIME \\YourServerIp /set

Your 2000 machines are the only ones that require a time synch and this should be ready to go out of the box if you have 2000 DC's in the environment.

What is timeserver and how is your environment configured?

For our sake, we all downloaded D4Time, a freeware program, and installed it in the Startup Folder. It syncs to the national atomic clocks and keeps things nice and steady.

cheers,
