Hi,

We have a problem with SINCRONITIATION in a MD110 (BC9), all trunks have the alarm "274 DIGITAL TRUNK, CLOCK MALFUNCTION (SLIP)".
We can`t send fax, and we can`t make modem calls. We have no problems for speech.

The problem has appeared after we generate a new disk for erasure a few LIMs.

The SCEXP, SCICP printout look ok:

[tt]
<SCEXP;
EXTERNAL SYNC RECEIVING LINES DATA
MASTER LIM STATUS
FIRST CHOICE 3-0-30-0 SYNC RECEIVING
SECOND CHOICE NOT PRESENT
THIRD CHOICE NOT PRESENT

SPAREMASTER LIM STATUS
FIRST CHOICE 5-1-20-0 OK
SECOND CHOICE NOT PRESENT
THIRD CHOICE NOT PRESENT

END

<SCICP;
MASTER LIM/GSM CONFIGURATION DATA
MASTER 2ND MASTER 3RD
LIM GSM LIM GSM LIM
3 0 5 0 1
END
[/tt]

But, ALLOP prints one alarm 274 for each trunk.

Can anybody help us ? Any idea ?

Thanks.

it can be you have (inter)sync problems between 2 or more PRA's.

What You See Is What You Get
Never underestimate tha powah of tha google!

Your master clocking sources need to be in LIM 1.

Remove your external synch.......let it run with no external synch long enough to determine if you are still seeing slips on your trunks. You don't HAVE to have external synch. A faulty external source can wreak havoc on your internal clocking (been there, done that!.

Reassign your internal synch to GSMULT=0-0, and the PCM link in slot 1-0-00. The 2nd and 3rd master can be assigned to other LIM's. Let the system run long enough again to evaluate your external trunk stats.

When you re-assign external synch, put it in LIM 1, and assign ONLY "FEML"......don't bother with second choices and sparemaster etc.

Good luck,

Dave Strang

Hi,

This nigth we soved the problem.

We have the EQU 1-0-0-00 assing to PCM 0-4. We have removed this configuration and we assinged the EQU 1-0-0-00 to PCM 0-0.

Then, we removed all trunks in the MD110, and programed all trunks again.

And this is all, no more SLIPs, no more 274.

Thanks for all.

JI
