hi all
I'm a student who's picking of Oracle/SQL by myself, so please bear with me. I want to store raw text, and from what I read, I can use the LONG or CLOB datatype, but advisable to use CLOB. Funny thing is, I tried dumping a heap of 'ssss', and Oracle said that it was 'too long', and my insert is truncated to 2,499 characters. I thought CLOB can store up to 4 gb?
