CLOB containing xml file - help please

Hi experts. I'm new to XML and desperate. I have to extract and analyze data in an Oracle CLOB in XML format. The XML Parser for PL/SQL is installed and I ran the samples successfully, but the samples parse xml/xsl. I've called the function parseClob (without errors), but where do I go from here? I can't find any documentation or examples. Does anyone have any ideas or examples how I can write the CLOB-contained XML elements out to a file or what functions to call?

Help is desperately needed and much appreciated.
