I know there's quite a difference between RPG and RPGLE but what is the difference between CL and CLLE?

One thing I do know is that the Source File, Library and Member fields in the compiled object become blank and until 7.1 you can't recover the source for CLLE.

Does anyone have a link to any materials mentioning the differences?

CLLE modules are bound into a program the same way that RPGLE modules are bound to a program. CL can't be bound. They create programs themselves.

The ILE programming model is one where modules are bound statically into programs. Most people I know who went from programming RPG to RPGLE did not do it for the modular programming model but did it for the syntax changes that RPGLE brought.

I don't know if there are any syntax differences between CL and CLLE like there is with RPG and RPGLE. I haven't had the need to use CLLE.
